Eve Hewson, daughter of U2 frontman Bono, is to star in upcoming film This Must Be The Place with Sean Penn. 
Hewson will be playing the part of a Goth-punk music fan that is close friends with Penn‘s ageing rock star, reports.
Penn’s character becomes obsessed with chasing after a Nazi criminal who had tormented his father in a concentration camp.
Eve apparently gets her confidence from Bono. When he was asked about his daughter being a film star, he replied,”It’s in the genes”.
This is not the first time that the 19 year-old Hewson has appearance on screen, with her credits including the 2008 indie drama The 27 Club directed by Erica Dunton.
Directed by Paolo Sorrentino and starring Frances McDormand, This Must Be The Place begins filming this month in Ireland and the US.
