When he appeared in 2006 flashing the finger at photographers, there was no doubt he was a chip off the old block.
But Liam Gallagher, Nicole Appleton and their son Gene were very much well behaved as they arrived for a taping of the Late Show with David Letterman.
Wearing a navy blue and yellow T-shirt, a serious looking Gene clutched his mothers hand as they made their way into the television studio.
Former All Saints singer Nicole looked cute in a black playsuit teamed with a star-print blazer and sky-high wedges.
Liam followed close behind his family, giving photographers his usual peace sign, as he headed in for the interview to promote new band Beady Eye.
However, while Liam is keen to make a success of his new venture, the first after the end of Oasis, he acknowledges it’s not going to be an easy journey.
He said in an interview, “I’m not even worried. I’m certainly not arsed whether we go in at number one or number 71.
“I’ve been number one. If I was in a young band now, then I’d be worried about it, but I’ve been there and had a look over the wall at what it is.”
But in the meantime, there are some other musicians Liam is taking inspiration from, some of whom might be deemed unusual choices for the rocker.
He admitted, “I really like Lady Gaga. Some of it is bordering on the ridiculous, but she brings it back around again because she can sing, she can dance, she’s out there taking chances and she’s not like all the other girl acts.
“She seems like she’s a bit fucking mad and I like that. I like her, man”
Well, one thing’s for certain…Liam still talks a load of old bollocks, and that’s for sure…man.
