Melissa Rivers wants to do a bit of swinging

It is a moment of horror no one believes they will experience with a long-term partner.

And Melissa Rivers has spoken out about her feelings of humiliation after discovering her ex-boyfriend Jason Zimmerman had been leading a sordid double life.

She said she was shocked when she found the actor asleep at his computer during a webcam session at an online pornography website.

However she admitted she was even more stunned when she discovered he had been trying to persuade swingers to have sex with him.

She said: ‘I was numb. I’d always told him it was fine to watch porn.

‘But to be talking to these women online,  that was going too far.

‘He was flirting and establishing relationships.’

But that was just the tip of the iceberg, as the next day a reporter told her Jason had been soliciting sex on Craigslist, though he insisted he never actually met up with anyone.

Melissa says, ‘The reporter told me Jason wanted to have sex with this strange woman and this strange couple.

It wasn’t for me to be included. It wasn’t a swinger thing.

‘It was just for him – and it was humiliating.’

The producer, who is appearing with her mother in reality show Joan and Melissa: Joan Knows Best, now believes she has found true love with her porn mogul boyfriend.

She has been dating Vivid Entertainment founder Steven Hirsch since last December, and the relationship has even been backed by her motormouth comic mother.

Melissa said: ‘Porn is Steven’s business, not his life. He makes me laugh.’

Her strained relationship with her then boyfriend is one of the featured storyline on her popular reality show.

And one of the messy fights which partly caused their break up was captured on camera.

The television host and her boyfriend began to fight after he announces he has to miss a family photo shoot scheduled by her mother.

He tells her: ‘He adds: ‘You’re so hormonal and irrational! I don’t know why you’re getting pissed. Go f*** yourself!’

He then makes a shocking parting statement against Melissa’s father, Edgar Rosenberg, who committed suicide in 1987.

He screams at her: ‘I am not Mr. Rivers. I’m not your fucking father. I’m not going to end up like him!’

And on last night’s show she having a furious phonecall after discovering he had been using internet pornography.
