Joe Galuvao and Tim Robinson help collapsed woman

Manly Sea Eagles duo Joe Galuvao and Tim Robinson have come to the aid of a collapsed woman in Dee Why.

Manly pair Joe Galuvao and Tim Robinson had a good excuse for being late to training, after they helped a middle-aged woman who had collapsed and split her head open in Dee Why.

In a week where their Sea Eagles teammates Anthony Watmough and Terence Seuseu made all the wrong headlines, Galuvao and Robinson raced to the woman, who was unconscious.

Galuvao had just got off a train and bus from Penrith – a trip he makes every day for training on the Northern Beaches – when he found himself in the middle of a life-threatening situation. “I told Timmy exactly where I was and to come quick,” Galuvao said.

“The woman was unconscious and having an obvious seizure.

“She had obviously been for a swim and had a towel wrapped around her, which I used to help stem the flow of blood.”

Coach Des Hasler was delighted with his players’ efforts, saying, “While several teammates created headlines for doing something stupid, they have reminded everyone what they are really like.”
