Everyone loves chocolate…unless you are lactose intolerant and that’s not my problem.
Ingredients: 1 cup or 150g of self raising flour
100g or 1/2 cup caster sugar
2tbs cocoa powder
125mls or 1/2 cup of milk
50g melted butter
1 egg
thickened cream
Chocolate sauce: 155g or 3/4 cup of brown sugar
2tsp cocoa powder
375ml or 1 1/2 cup of boiling water
Preheat your oven to 180 deg and grease a 1.5 litre ovenproof dish.
Combine the flour, sugar and cocoa powder in a bowl ( sieve the ingredients if you want but i cant be bothered)
Make a well with your fingers (yes…they have to be clean) in the centre, combine the milk, butter and egg in a jug. Pour into the well and mix. Scrape the poo looking mixture into the greased dish and smooth over with a spoon.
Make the chocolate sauce by sifting (yeah…right) the sugar and cocoa powder in a bowl, sprinke over the pudding, gently pour the boiling water over the cocoa mixture.
Bake in the oven for 40/45 minutes until cooked.
Serve with a huge amount of cream or ice cream and gorge yourself until you feel totally sick.
