Manchester United celebrate Sir Alex Ferguson’s final Premier League title at a local restaurant.
Wayne and Coleen Rooney led the footballers and WAG’s on a night out at Neighbourhood restaurant in Spinningfields, Manchester, on Sunday evening.
Having played no part whatsoever in Sir Alex Ferguson’s final match at the Theatre Of Dreams, the meal could very well have been the Rooney’s farewell supper.
The striker, who has officially put in a transfer request, carried a umbrella as he and wife Coleen, 27, arrived at the New York inspired eatery.
And to be honest, Rooney earns far too much for his peanut brain to comprehend. He has not played with any hunger for the game in years. It seems he’s just happy to fuck about on the soccer pitch and earn shit-loads without any integrity whatsoever.
The man who has replaced Rooney as the goal machine for United, Robin van Persie, was also at the meal and he cut a very casual look in jeans and a polo shirt.
The Dutchman was joined by wife Bouchra who like all the WAGs made a lot more effort than the men. Bouchra wore a colourful short dress with a black fur coat and strappy heels.
United’s 13th Premier League crown was confirmed with the 3-0 win over Aston Villa last month but they waited until after Sunday’s 2-1 win over Swansea at Old Trafford to lift the trophy.
The United stars also painted the town red after securing the title against Villa, went out after last Sunday’s 1-0 defeat by Chelsea and were spotted at Chester races on Wednesday – the day Sir Alex Ferguson announced he was retiring.
