Benji Marshall may be past his best – but he has got to be bargain of the year.
He is, without doubt, a superstar of NRL.
After he left the Wests Tigers, he has been wasted at the Dragons. We only saw glimpses of what he can actually do.
His experience and leadership will be invaluable – youngsters will learn so much from him.
His rugby brain is so ahead of everyone else’s…the team will play fantastic rugby.
Although he is one of the greats, but it won’t be easy.
He’ll have to be competing for his place, which means that the younger players will also be ‘upping’ their game…as they will just have to.
It will be interesting to see how he goes…as long as he is still hungry.
